Embassy CES accreditation

Our English language programmes are internationally accredited by:

The English in Britain Accreditation Scheme is a quality assurance scheme. The British Council's role is to promote the use of English. We achieve this, in part, by promoting the courses provided by English in Britain accredited schools, colleges and universities through our network of over 220 offices in 109 countries.

All accredited organisations are required to undergo inspection at regular intervals, and spot checks may be made between inspections without warning.

All inspections are done by two or more inspectors. All our inspectors are experienced senior English language teaching professionals with additional expertise in management, teacher training (or) materials writing.

Visit the British Council website for more information.

English UK

English UK is an association formed from ARELS and BASELT. They work with the British Council to run the English in Britain Accreditation Scheme, a worldwide guarantee of quality.

ACCET

The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) is a voluntary group of educational organizations affiliated for the purpose of improving continuing education and training. Through its support of an independent Accrediting Commission, the ACCET membership promulgates and sustains the Standards for Accreditation along with policies and procedures that measure and ensure educational standards of quality. ACCET is recognized for this purpose by the U.S. Secretary of Education and, accordingly, is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

The essential purpose of the accreditation process is to provide a professional judgement as to the quality of the educational institution or programme(s) offered, and to encourage continual improvement thereof. Accreditation is the process by which the ACCET Accrediting Commission grants public recognition to an educational institution which has voluntarily submitted to an evaluative comparison with established qualifications and standards, both upon initial application and periodically thereafter. ACCET's function is focused upon educational quality, the continuous assessment and improvement of educational practices, and assistance to member institutions in the improvement of these practices within their programmes.

New Zealand Qualification Authority

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) was established in 1990 to provide an overarching role in quality assured qualifications and to coordinate national qualifications in New Zealand.

The Qualifications Authority checks that education providers meet quality standards. Private training establishments must successfully pass a quality audit to maintain their NZQA registration, approval and accreditation. In addition, all establishments are audited on a regular basis - including site visits, student interviews and document analysis.

Please visit the NZQA website for more information.
