Socrates & Comenius

Teachers in Europe can apply to the European Union for a grant of up to 1500 euros to attend one of our 2-week training courses. The grant is is awarded under the Comenius initiative to cover tuition, accommodation and travel.

Who is eligible?
Teachers from the following countries:

EU Countries	EFTA / EEA	Associated countries in Central & Eastern Europe
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the UK	Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway	Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia Cyprus, Malta and Turkey

Applying for funding

Choose one of our two-week courses and note the start date
Complete the online enquiry form to receive a pre-registration form, either by letter or by fax
Send the completed pre-registration form together with an application form for funding to the relevant National Agency. Application forms can be found here: Socrates National Agency website

Check the National Agency website for details of closing dates for applications.
