Program duration:

Students are encouraged to enrol for a minimum of one year and may enrol for a longer period. Students who wish to earn a diploma are encouraged to enrol for two years.

Program options:

Apart from the experience of living in a residence, the Private Boarding program differs from the Private Day program in that we can accomodate students in distinct age groups and can also assist in finding a school that best suits each individual's special requirements.

  • English as Second Language (ESL) is available at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels
  • Junior boarding program - available to students aged 12-13
  • Senior boarding program - specially designed with our partner schools for 18-21 year olds students who may nothave achieved their full academic potential
  • Superior/Gifted programs - advanced Placement and Honor Classes are available to the gifted or highly advanced students
  • Learning differences - we can assist in placing students with Attention Defecit Disorder, Dyslexia or other special needs

Program requirements:

  • Students must be between the ages of 14 and 19 years (12-13 years for the Junior Boarding program)
  • Students must obtain a score of at least 45 on the SLEP test (unless electing the ESL tuition option)
  • Students must complete an application, including health records and recent school transcripts
  • For superior schools, students must have average school grades of C or above
  • Students must have a flexible, socially mature approach to American life
Private Day Schools

Private Day schools are superior, independently founded institutions. They are an excellent choice for students who wish to live with a host family while seeking a serious academic atmosphere with small class sizes and excellent facilities.
